Development of the Gems and Jewelry sector.
Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) embraces a longstanding tradition for over 03 decades of organizing exhibitions, started back in 1984. RCCI held its first ever industrial exhibition in 1984,
In the year 2007, a flagship exhibition “Vision 2007”, was organized exhibitions meeting international standards. Recently the event was rebranded with the name of Rawal Expo and most successively, with a broader perspective, RCCI also elevated its exhibitions’ drive by organizing single country exhibitions in the entire SAARC region with a view to gain attention of foreign buyers and to enhance market share along with the augmentation of export potential of Pakistan. Single country exhibitions were initiated with an aim to provide platform to Pakistani Businessmen to showcase their product range and services.
We believe that chambers can also play an effective role in advancement of trade and commerce across boundaries. The outcome of this belief resulted in 2011; when RCCI organized its first “Made in Pakistan” exhibition in Bangladesh that earned huge appreciation from Pakistan as well as from the buyers of Bangladesh. Series of “Made in Pakistan” exhibitions in Afghanistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, USA and UK were organized.
